These aren’t your kid’s box of Legos, these are machines. First Lego League is an international robotic program for kids ages 9 to 14. James Floyd Kelly and Jonathan Daudelin teamed up to write an all in one guide, First Lego League, The Unofficial Guide.
Browsing the book I can’t help but be amazed by the imagination and skill that goes into the First Lego League. Showing successful tips to run a successful league is quite interesting, as is the skill to put together these masterpieces. This book is great for kids young and old!

I am coaching an FLL team this year and I could really use this as a reference. Being on an FLL team is nothing like playing with Legos. It is more like being on an engineering project team. The kids design and build a robot that completes missions. Then they run it in a judged competition. They also have to do a research project and do a presentation in front of the judges. The overall winners get these neat trophies made from Legos!. This book would really help our team.
Thanks
