A month, wow already! From the first push from the greatest editor ever, Rachel, The Lil’ Mom was born. Labor was not that hard, although there was some screaming and cursing, I have been learning a lot! It still is a little weird to tell people I have my own blog page, that I have been featured on Mommytalk, been featured on Yahoo Shine but the Leo loves it none the less. So who have I met and what have I done.

First off Mouthygirl has been a huge help, cool chick. I have met Mel from Box of Chocolate, I love her insights on being a teacher. Amy from Crunchy Domestic Goddess-check out her cool contest link is on the right side. Wired for Noise, and This Military Mama are another two. All these moms have different ideas and voices and we all exist in this great big blogesphere, leading me to believe there is hope for world peace!

Thanks to Mouthygirl and Box of Chocolates special weekly blogs I was inspired to create Try Something New Saturday. Yes I did all- the paper crane was fun and easy- but now is somewhere in the depths of the toy box. I did a little dancing at my moms wedding, and even at home with the curtains open.

Now last night I have to admit I cheated a bit, no subtitle but Irish dialect. I watched Once. It was such an awesome movie. I like me those melancholy Irish singers, not to mention my insane love of the word arse, thank you Frank McCourt. I loved how they used the music to tell the story, the flow. I dug it.

I have got out a lot of great creative energy writing my blog. Had great response, one negative, but what to do. Thanks to all the perverts who like Dirty Moms and the greatest web chickys who like to be Dirty Moms. On to month two….
